LumaLoodle Privacy Policy
Starter policy for the current parent-account system. Last updated August 28, 2026.
Our approach
LumaLoodle is designed for children, but account creation is for parents and caregivers. We do not ask children to create accounts or provide their name, birthday, email address, location, or contact information.
Information parent accounts use
When an adult creates an account we collect the account email address, an optional parent display name, consent/terms timestamps, optional marketing preference, and authentication information handled by our account provider. If signed in, the adult may choose to save Music Room projects and, as features are added, game progress linked to the parent account.
Local browser data
The site may store preferences and unfinished game or Music Room progress in the browser on the device. This allows features such as remembering sound preferences or restoring an unfinished music project.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. The current site does not provide child chat, direct messaging, public child profiles, or child-facing account signup. We do not intentionally request personal information from children.
External services
Some parent-gated links lead to third-party services such as YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. Those services have their own privacy practices. Embedded media may also involve third-party technology.
Retention and deletion
Parent-account information and saved cloud data are kept while the account remains active. A signed-in adult can download their account data and permanently delete the account and associated saved LumaLoodle data from the account page.
Email choices
Optional marketing emails are opt-in and can be turned off in account settings. Essential account emails, such as verification or password-reset messages, may still be sent when needed.
Children's privacy
We aim to minimize information connected to children. A simple grown-up math gate is used for some external links and adult-only tools, but that gate is only a usability barrier and is not a method of verifiable parental consent.
